Key Responsibilities
  • Physical implementation (Floorplan, Placement, CTS, Routing) and optimization
  • Implement physical design flows and methodologies that meet SoC requirements to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA)
  • Design high-performance SoCs using customized CTS
  • Ensure reliable SoC implementation through physical verification and SI/PI/EM analysis
  • Other SoC engineering-related tasks
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of SoC design flow and proficiency in HDL languages
  • Familiarity with physical implementation (Floorplan, Placement, CTS, Routing, etc.) and verification (SI/PI/EM, DRC, LVS, signoff, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting languages for program development (Python, SKILL, Tcl, etc.)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SoC architecture and experience in SoC design
  • Expertise in SoC optimization, including power, performance, and area (PPA)
  • Familiarity with standard-cell and memory IPs
  • Experience using physical implementation tools (e.g., DC/Genus, ICC2/Innovus, PrimeTime/Tempus)
